Charlyne Gelt, Ph.D.,(PSY22909), M.F.T., is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and registered group psychotherapist working with children, adolescents, adults, families and groups. Dr. Gelt has maintained a psychotherapy practice in Encino since 1992 helping individuals and families move towards healthier communication, and balance in the family system. She draws from different theoretical frames, including cognitive-behavioral, self-psychology, and family systems lens.
Prior to working as a psychotherapist, she was an educator (Gen. Ed; SH/AUT/SED), for over twenty-five years working with children, adolescents, and parents - including those with autism and Asperger's Syndrome, reach personal and academic goals.
